During the course of one school year, we take our 6th grade students (confirmands) through a deeper study of what it means to follow Jesus and ultimately what it means to be a member of the body of Christ with church membership. While some may have already made a commitment to follow Jesus or maybe have been baptized, we’re asking them to commit or reaffirm their vows at the end of this year if they choose to do so. Confirmands have a chance to go on a Spring Weekend Retreat with their classmates where they will have further study, do a missions project and decorate stoles which they will receive at the Confirmation Service at the end of the school year. Upon completion of Fusion at the end of 6th grade, they will be fully integrated with our Youth Ministry.
